Hoopers
Hoopers Agility Training is a type of dog agility training that uses hoops, tunnels, and barrels as obstacles, the tunnels and hoops are large enough for big breeds and roomy for smaller ones. Because the courses are ground level, they are suitable for young puppies and elderly or disabled dogs (who are otherwise fit and well), who can take part without any worries about damaging joints or bones. It is a great way to provide both physical and mental stimulation, making it more inclusive to a wider range of dogs.
It’s fantastic exercise for humans, too - and it’s a great option if one or both of you doesn’t have the stamina for more intensive sports. Instead of running around the course alongside your pup, as you would in agility, commands are given at more of a distance and are less physically demanding for the handler.
To be successful at Hoopers, you must have a strong relationship with your dog so Basic Manners or equivalent obedience classes (that do not use prong, choke, or shock collars) is a prerequisite. Hoopers classes are $150 for a total of 6 weeks. Beginner classes will start on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m.
Class size is limited to 6 dogs per class so contact PAWZ today to register.

Anyone who misses a class will have the responsibility to communicate with the instructor and schedule a make-up session. Classes will not be held during times when Pawz Enrichment Center is closed and will either be rescheduled for a different day during the week according to student, instructor, and/or building availability or delayed until the next scheduled class.
